Erzsebet Horvath is a recognized geographer whose research focuses on tephrostratigraphy, loess–paleosol sequences, and paleoenvironmental reconstruction in the Carpathian Basin. Her work combines field analysis, micromorphology, and sediment studies to improve the understanding of past climatic and geomorphic processes.
