His thesis examined the photodegradation properties and impact performance of non-Newtonian fluids impregnated in Kevlar® fabrics, guided by Prof. José Ivan de Medeiros and co-advised by Professors Fernando Ribeiro Oliveira and Marcos Silva de Aquino, with scholarship support from CNPq. Thiago completed his Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering at UFRN in 2017, with a final project on the mechanical properties of 100% cotton yarns modified with DBD plasma and sizing treatments, under the supervision of Prof. Michelle Cequeira Feitor. His early education was completed at various schools in Brazil, including Almirante Tamandaré State School and João Guió Municipal School.
