He also completed a sabbatical during his Ph.D. studies at the University of Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands, in 2017. Pezhman earned his Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Najafabad University, Iran, in 2007, where he analyzed foundation behavior under earthquake motion using PLAXIS, achieving a GPA of 19.33 out of 20. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at Shahrekord University, Iran, in 2004, with a GPA of 16.01 out of 20.

Pezhman has been a faculty member in the Civil Engineering Department of the Islamic Azad University, Shahrekord Branch, since 2008, where he currently serves as the Vice Chancellor of Education. His prior roles include Research Director, Vice Chancellor of Civil Engineering, and Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the same institution.
