Dr. Zhu has a diverse range of academic and industry experiences. He is currently on a career break and working as an adjunct researcher at Tsinghua University, Beijing. Prior to this, He worked as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Northampton, where He taught Economics and Business-related modules. She also served as an Economics Lecturer at Harrow Independent College in London, teaching A-level students. Dr. Zhu’s postdoctoral research at Tsinghua University involved open-source data collection, analysis of the automobile industry, and managing research interns. She has experience in data analysis at the Bank of Communications Ltd., London, and was involved in business relations at the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Before this, he was a Professor at NSTU from 2017 to 2021 and previously worked as an Associate Professor from 2013 to 2017. His journey at NSTU began as an Assistant Professor in 2008, following his tenure as a Lecturer from 2006 to 2008. Earlier in his career, he worked as an Assistant Engineer at the Inspection and Testing Directorate of the Rural Electrification Board (REB) in Dhaka from 2001 to 2006. During his Ph.D. studies, he also served as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Universiti Malaysia Pahang from 2009 to 2012.
