Mr. Bernard Omomoh, Federal University of Technology, Nigeria
Dr. Houda Oueriemmi, Arid Region Institute, Tunisia
Dr. Houda Oueriemmi has demonstrated remarkable expertise in soil fertility enhancement and sustainable land management, particularly in arid regions. Her work is internationally recognized, and she actively contributes to high-impact research projects. Her publications and collaborations underscore her scientific excellence. Strengthening her research impact through increased citations, mentorship, and funding acquisition could further elevate her standing in the global scientific community.
Houda Oueriemmi holds a Ph.D. in Water and Earth Sciences from the Higher Institute of Water Sciences and Techniques of Gabès, completed in 2021 at the Laboratory of Eremology and Combating Desertification, Arid Regions Institute (IRA) of Médenine. She earned a Master’s degree in Geology of Sedimentary Basins in 2015 and another Master’s in Valorization of Geomaterials in 2012, both from the Faculty of Sciences of Gabès. She also obtained a Licence degree in Natural Sciences and Applications in 2010 from the same institution and completed her Scientific Baccalaureate at Ibn Roched High School, Zarzis, in 2007.
Currently, she is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Arid Region Institute of Medenine, contributing to the European project ISFERALDA, which focuses on improving soil fertility in arid and semi-arid regions using local organic date palm residues. Her research experience includes multiple internships, notably at the Institute of Agrobiological Research of Galicia (IIAG-CSIC) in Spain in 2018 and 2019, under the supervision of Dr. Petra Susan Kidd, Dr. Ángeles Prieto-Fernández, and Dr. Carmen Trasar-Cepeda. She has also conducted extensive Ph.D. research at the Laboratory of Eremology and Combating Desertification at IRA Médenine and completed Master’s and technician internships at institutions such as ECUMED Petroleum, the Cement Company of Gabès, and COTUSAL of Zarzis.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lili Dong, Shenyang Agricultural University, China
Dr. Lili Dong is a highly accomplished researcher in ecological sciences with a strong publication record, competitive research funding, and international collaborations. Her work has significantly contributed to understanding soil carbon dynamics, nitrogen deposition, and ecosystem processes. She has received prestigious awards and recognition for her research excellence, making her a strong candidate for the Best Researcher Award.
Lili Dong obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Information Engineering from Xinyang Normal University (2004–2008). She then pursued a Master’s degree in Phytochemistry at Northeast Forestry University (2009–2012) and later completed her Ph.D. in Ecology at the same university (2014–2017).
Since July 2017, Lili Dong has been a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Applied Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In September 2019, she was appointed as a Research Assistant at the same institute. She also gained overseas experience in 2019 through a research stay at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Ishrat Naz, The University of Agriculture, Peshawar, Pakistan
Dr. Ishrat Naz is a highly accomplished researcher with expertise in plant pathology, nematology, and sustainable disease management. Her research contributions, student mentorship, and applied agricultural impact make her a strong candidate for a Best Researcher Award. While she has a solid research portfolio, increasing her citation impact, securing larger grants, and expanding international collaborations could further elevate her standing in the scientific community.
Dr. Ishrat Naz earned her Ph.D. in Plant Pathology (Nematology) from The University of Agriculture, Peshawar, with an outstanding CGPA of 3.95/4.00, supported by a Pak-Scotland scholarship. She completed her M.Sc. (Hons) in Plant Pathology (Mycology) from the same university, securing a Faculty Silver Medal for her academic excellence. Her B.Sc. (Hons) in Plant Pathology also earned her a University Bronze Medal.
Dr. Naz is an Associate Professor in the Department of Plant Pathology at The University of Agriculture, Peshawar, with over 20 years of experience in teaching, research, and administration. She previously held positions as an Assistant Professor, Lecturer, and Research Officer.
